Hello! I am Donna Moffitt, a lifelong lover of children’s books and a passionate youth a advocate in our Nashville, TN community. My debut picture book, The Man with the Marigolds: A Story for Healing Hearts grew from my own childhood memories of living in the city where life very much happens on the sidewalk. It is paired with my belief that a few kind words from a caring adult can make a lasting difference in a child’s life providing emotional resilience.

When I’m not reading or writing, I enjoy photography, serving in my community, and making memories with my husband, children, and grandchildren- experiences that continually inspire and deepen my commitment to storytelling and youth advocacy.
